The shows were never confirmed, but a hoax email has been circulating the press, with fake prices, vip offers etc.
Madonna's manager has come out denying the tour but promising Australia WILL be on the plans for the next global tour "whenever that may be".
The issue here is that the Madonna camp ALWAYS includes Australia - its wether or not promoters are willing to pony up the dosh for it to come here. More often than not its a very big risk due to financial markets, exchange rates etc - remember, Madonna is not cheap.
So, Australia - take a deep breath - it isn't happening - and won't be for some time.
Pity, cos the last tour - Sticky And Sweet, was just brilliant.
Our advice to those that were geeking out about the $3,000 meet n greet packages, is IF you are willing to spend that amount of money in Australia - why not save up and travel and see her in NYC for the same amount! That way you get a holiday out of it too!
