Darren Hayes launches his new single ‘Bloodstained Heart’ as a follow up to the pop sensation ‘Talk Talk Talk’. The new single, available 5th September, has been chosen by X-Factor to build up their highly anticipated new series and is by all accounts, destined to be the song of his career.
Hayes will also appear on X-Factor with Natalie Bassingthwaighte for the Boot Camp episodes, which commence on-air from Wednesday 7th September.
Hayes has co-written the single with the same collaborator as ‘Talk Talk Talk’, Swedish producer Carl Falk (Nicole Scherzinger 'Don't Hold Your Breath') and says of this epic moment, “The song is one of my favourite songs I have ever written. For me is the moment this album becomes something special”. Listen to the track here.
Hayes’ fourth solo studio album Secret Codes and Battleships (out 21st October) was mixed by Robert Orton (Lady Gaga) and mastered by the legendary Bob Ludwig. Alongside a modern pop production the album also features live orchestras recorded in Sydney and Stockholm by celebrated arranger Larry Muhoberac (Elvis, Streisand) and Swedish arranger Mattias Bylund, - of the family famous for putting strings on all the classic Abba albums.
